Making babies! :P
I learned that Caladiums can produce seed but it isn't common due to the timing of everything. It has both male and female parts. The female part is at the top. It opens first. Later the male part opens (bottom) Pollen from the bottom must fertilize the top....but by the time the male opens up, the female is no longer fertile! tmi?? Lol Well, I am trying to help with a q-tip. I put the q-tip inside the green part where the pollen is and rubbed some pollen on it. Then I rubbed it all over the top part. It doesn't look damaged but the top was already moist...don't know if it was too late. Guess time will tell.
